PCGS Member Opportunity: Organization and Scanning Bee 31 August 2022 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Hey PCGS Member!
If you, like me, have a “Genealogy Stuff and Photos to Organize or Scan” pile, this message is for you! This is an opportunity for PCGS members to get together and spend time organizing or scanning or both with friendly genealogists. Bring your laptop or photos or papers or whatever it is that you need to help get your Genealogy Life in order.
Join me for a Scanning Bee at the northside Tucson West Family History Center at 3530 W Magee Road, Tucson, AZ 85741. I will be there from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Come by anytime. This is not a structured event; we will just get together to organize and scan! There will be resources available if you are looking for tips. This is also a great opportunity to just come on by and spend time with other PCGS members. Isn’t there ALWAYS organization work to do??? If we have more PCGS members than scanners at any point, we’ll take turns to make sure everyone has a productive day. You could also bring a question to research or check out the books at the Family History Center library.
Please note the location. The PCGS Organization and Scanning Bees will alternate between the two Family History Center locations in order to meet the needs of more of our PCGS members. Please be sure you know which one we are at for this event!
If you can’t make it this time, don’t fret! We have time set for another Organization and Scanning Bee on November 2nd.
