World War I and the Library of Congress – Saturday, September 19

Join us virtually on Saturday, September 19, for an interesting two hours. Our speakers will help us to find records we didn’t know existed.

The short class topic is Library of Congress Resources by April Hale. Discover what resources are available through the Library of Congress to aid you in your genealogical research. Topics of discussion will include the available records and how to access them, both remotely and at the Library. In addition, we will discuss how your personal research can be submitted to the Library for storage and reference. We will discuss the types of personal genealogies that can be submitted to the Library and how to do it.

April Hale is a genealogist with a passion for knowledge and a love for her family, both past and present. She is a middle-school history teacher who loves to find ways to integrate genealogy into her classroom. She is currently working on her master’s degree in history.
