Maureen Taylor, the photo detective, is presenting an interactive hands-on workshop on Friday, October 16: Love and Loss in the Family Album: Finding the Story Between the Covers. If you know how to read the clues, photo albums tell a story. They are a “snapshot” of your family at a particular period of time curated by a family member. In this workshop you’ll be asked to examine your photo albums for clues. Maureen’s signature 5 step identification (who, what, where, when and why) and her interpretation process applies to photos and photo albums where they are old or somewhat new. What will you discover about your family from your photo album?
Participants will be asked to fill in a workbook after the lecture and encouraged to ask questions that will be worked on live. Attendance is limited to 20 participants. The workshop will be offered twice on the same date, once at 9am and again at 3pm.
The workshop will be held via Zoom. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. For additional information and to register, follow this link to the 2020 Photo Workshop page on our website.
